Thutak Nunpuitu Team (Practical Excampler of the Truth) was founded by Dr. Sangthankima in 14^th November, 1988 at Champhai town. Dr, Sangthankima, is a man who is deeply inherent to be able to stand by his own feet whether it resulted to succeed or not. When he reached 20 years of age he was changed into a faithful follower of God and committed himself to help the degenerate’s sinner, destitute and socially deprived and he further nurtures them to lead the right path so to receive their body and soul salvation. However, he himself should never stand in the way of his ministry which is the first and foremost commitment of his life. From above the mentioning concepts the institution inevitably came into being.

        At the beginning, the founder of the Institution started the mission and assigned himself  to multiple labour work for maintaining and uplifting the ministry. On its earlier stage only one or two alcoholics are enrolled, who are taught the significance of truth as an obstruct for totally changing their lives. As a result of hard work, the institution earned a huge success and most of the patients fully recovered and some of them are willingly volunteered to work at the institution. Soon the ministry expanded in order to serve a larger number of the needy who are thirsting for the miraculous service that has been administering day by day.

        The Institution then moved down to the city of Aizawl in 1991 and then stationed themselves on a large plot of land(14 bigha), which was generously given to them. from the year 1995 Orphanage Home was established at this place. Continuously, people from different region including from the North East States and even foreign country gathered to this institution expecting to receive relieve from their problems. Among the people are orphans, drug abuser, alcoholics, sex workers, and mentally ill persons. The institution had no any discrimination against their patients and no religions boundary. Everyone are treated ‘alike’ on this place.
